Lily Allen does not think she is a good role model.
The 'Smile' singer - who previously revealed she tried ecstasy at the age of 14 - believes young people should look up to family members rather than celebrities they have never met.
Lily said: "I think role models should be aunts and uncles, mothers and sisters and brothers. Why would you want to put someone on a pedestal that you know nothing about?"
However, the 23-year-old has also revealed she is toning down her hell-raising lifestyle and refuses to be influenced by her wild friends.
She added: "My mates are in a totally different place. I've grown up so much and they are still all into going out dancing and taking drugs.
"I hang out with much older people. I go for dinners at posh places and talk about art."
The 23-year-old beauty - who recently revealed she will quit her music career when she finds the right man - also says she dreams of starting a family.
She said: "I don't think I want to be doing this at the same times as that. I certainly wouldn't want to mix the two. But I do enjoy it."
Popstar Lily Allen recently admitted that her BBC show called Lily Allen and Friends was a major flop. The singer revealed that although the show was badly panned by the critics, it helped her make a lot of money. "It was a period when I decided not to be a singer or go on tour," the Sun quoted Allen, as saying.
"I made a lot of money out of it. Thank you, licence-payers - that was very nice of you. You think Russell Brand is your problem. Actually, it's me," Allen added. Despite the fact that the show was a flop, BBC bosses have decided to go ahead and film second series of the show. "I'm thrilled that we're going to make a second series. It's been such a laugh. I want to say a huge thank-you to everyone who tuned in to the first one and I can't wait to film series two," Allen said
A BBC insider said: "Not everything has to be a massive ratings success on the BBC. Lily's show was aimed at younger viewers who don't read newspaper reviews - or care about them. We were happy with how the programme performed and it was a good effort for someone who has never fronted a television show before."
Lily Allen is in trouble with her record label - because Mark Ronson played her cover of Britney Spears' recent hit 'Womanizer' on his radio show.
Fans ripped the track from the show on Saturday (December 13) and have put it online, and EMI aren't pleased, according to the singer herself.
Allen explained on her blog: "Now, some of you may be wondering why I covered 'Womanizer' - simple really, I love Britney and I love the song."
"It wasn't my intention for it to have whizzed round the world like it has," added Allen. "Mark Ronson asked me for something no one had heard to play on his radio show, and 'Womanizer' was the only song I had as an attachment on my Blackberry, and I couldn't get home to send him anything else in time."
However, fans took the opportunity to get their hands on the exclusive track.
"I had asked him to talk all over it so it wouldn't get ripped, but he didn't," explained the singer. "Thanks Mark - for getting me in serious trouble with my record company."
Rihanna wants to team up with our very own Lily Allen
The Barbados babe stole the show at the Jingle Bell Ball when she writhed amid a waterfall of pyrotechnics during her mega-hit Umbrella.
Rihanna, 20, told me: “Lily Allen is bad ass – I love her. I also really like Duffy and Leona Lewis, who is so beautiful, with an amazing voice. I would love to do a collaboration with those girls.”
The busy beauty also revealed she won’t be taking a break next year – even after releasing a record-breaking eight singles in 2008.
She said: “I’m going to start work on my next album early in the year. There may be a cool collaboration, but you’ll have to wait and see.” Bring it on.

Lily Allen has spoken in defense of AmyWinehouse, insisting there is a 'clever and witty' side to the singer that the public fails to see.
Lily said that the singer might be battling her drug addiction but can hold herself together.
'I know Amy Winehouse very well and she is very different to what people portray her as being,' Contactmusic quoted Lily, as saying.
'Yes, she does get out of her mind on drugs sometimes, but she is also a very clever, intelligent, witty, funny person who can hold it together. You just don't see that side. She gets a really hard time,' Lily added.
Lily did not hesitate to admit she and Winehouse are one of the two female celebrities, who are mainly targeted by the British media.
'I mean, there aren't that many people with whom the press concentrate on their personality so much,' Lily said.
'I think in the U.K., as far as females go, it's mainly me and her that get that treatment. She gets it more than I do. But I don't see it that much with other people,' she added.
Loudmouth Lily Allen has sparked another celebrity feud, this time taking fire at US chart topper Katy Perry calling her 'crass' and telling her to 'shut up!'
Allen hit out after claiming Perry has called her fat in the past and also moans the US chart topper has pinched her style.
The Smile singer, 23, told Capital Fm: 'I happen to know for a fact that she was an American version of me.
'She was signed by my label in America as, 'We need to find something controversial and kooky like Lily Allen.' And then they found her.
'I think the lyrics and stuff are a bit crass.'
Allen says she's angry with Perry after a string of supposed fat jibes made by the 'Kissed A Girl' singer.
Allen reveals: 'When I met her I was bit frosty with her because someone asked her to describe herself. She's like, 'Aha, I'm like a fatter version of Amy Winehouse and a skinner version of Lily Allen!'
'It's like, you're not English and you don't write your own songs, shut up!'
